Metcash is seeking an IBA Business Manager, based in Laverton, Victoria.
The ideal candidate will have local market knowledge and insight, and be responsible for developing industry leading retail programs and marketing strategies to drive growth of the IBA network within Victoria.
They will partner with the retail committees and broader retail network, promoting and building IBA member loyalty and commitment.
The role will involve leading the operations team, ensuring optimal execution of the retail programs and support to the IBA member network.
What you’ll do:
• Collaborate with the support team to develop the promotional programs and marketing strategies for all IBA banner groups
• Act as the champion for all IBA Liquor promotions enquiries and ensure that the program is effectively communicated to all internal and external stakeholders
• Engage with the retail committee and broader membership, building rapport and further developing the partnership with the IBA retail network
• Provide leadership to the operations team – ensure a strong team culture is developed and results are delivered and executed within agreed timelines
• Establish and maintain an intimate knowledge and understanding of the local market and current trading dynamics
• Conduct business reviews with the retail network and leading suppliers
