Paramount Liquor launches in South Australia

Paramount Liquor is putting the finishing touches on its new warehousing facilities in South Australia.

Following a successful launch in NSW, Paramount Liquor is opening a state-of-the-art warehouse at Pooraka, Adelaide. It will service the thriving on-premise market in the state and increase the efficiency and reach of service to 100Proof National accounts.

Paramount Liquor is one of three founding members of 100Proof, alongside Liquid Mix and Liquid Speciality Beverages.

100Proof is a one-stop drinks solution delivering extensive product ranging, marketing support, staff training and other tools to more than 5000 restaurants, bars and hotels around Australia.

100Proof was launched in 2016, creating Australia’s largest independent drinks specialist, with more than 70 years’ experience in the on-premise.

The opening of the Pooraka warehouse (above) means 100Proof now offers a national distribution and marketing footprint across Australia

Paramount Director Nathan Rowe said the feedback from both suppliers and the on-premise to its South Australian expansion had been “outstanding”.

“Suppliers have been asking us when we’re going to South Australia for quite some time,” he noted.

Some suppliers even joined with Paramount to visit major on-premise venues this week to introduce the business.

“We have a range of more than 7000 products, while a lot of other distributors only have about half of that,” Rowe said. “A lot of venues in South Australia have already heard about Paramount and are keen to work with us.”

Paramount has been busy stocking the new warehouse with product this week and anticipates its first order going out tomorrow, however it won’t officially open until Monday.

“We’re well entrenched in Melbourne and have taken a fair share of on-premise in NSW,” Rowe concluded. “It’s a great opportunity to expand our network and good timing for Paramount.”
