Actress Camilla Belle has teamed up with Moët & Chandon to create a special cocktail for today’s Golden Globes ceremony.

“The Moet Belle” draws inspiration from Belle’s Brazilian roots and is inspired by the classic Caipirinha cocktail
More than 500 “The Moët Belle” cocktails will be served in coupe glasses and garnished with a white orchid at the VIP bars inside of the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

Here’s the recipe …

The Moët Belle by Camilla Belle

1oz of Cachaça

0.75oz of Mango Juice

0.5oz of ginger syrup

0.25oz of Fresh lime juice

2.5oz of Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial

Garnish: Tropical flower decoration or edible flower as garnish

Served: Coupe glass

Preparation: Shake the first four ingredients together with ice. Strain into a coupe and top with Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut.More than 125 cases of Moët magnums will be served today at the 2019 Golden Globes.

Inside Moët’s sponsorship

Moët & Chandon is gearing up for its biggest Awards ceremony yet, as its sponsorship of the event enters its 28th year.

Last year, Moët & Chandon served over 1500 Minis on the red carpet and over 500 cocktails. During the ceremony, tables are set with magnums of Grand Vintage 2008 and Rosé Impérial. 

The Champagne maker will also supply bubbles to the after-parties. Around 2000 Minis, 500 750ml bottles and 50 magnums will be delivered to the locations of various venues around Los Angeles.

The Champagne house’s philanthropic initiative – “Toast for a Cause” – is also celebrating its 10th year. 

The program gives nominees an opportunity to raise a toast with Moët & Chandon’s Imperial Minis in support of their favorite charities.

For each toast raised, Moët & Chandon donates $1000 to the chosen charity in the nominee’s name. More than 200 nominees have participated in the philanthropic initiative, including Kendall Jenner (pictured main), George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

Since this program began, Moët & Chandon has raised over $250,000 for more than 150 charities, funds and causes across the country like the American Red Cross, Time’s Up and UNICEF.

The face of this year’s Toast for A Cause is Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan (above). 

She noted to The Hollywood Reporter: “I’ve been fortunate to have had an exciting year, and what better way to celebrate my first Golden Globe Awards and the success and boundary-breaking milestones of Crazy Rich Asians than with a glass of champagne? I think Astrid would agree! In all honesty, while Moet has always been an iconic champagne, I also admire their focus on charity through Toast for a Cause, so was thrilled when they invited me to get involved in the program’s 10th anniversary.
