4 Pines Extends Core Range with In Season IPA

4 Pines Brewing Company has extended its core beer range with the permanent addition of its In Season IPA.

The brew has been released via keg nationally over the last two years, but due to its popularity will now move to can and become the eighth beer in 4 Pines’ core stable.

Unlike its counterparts, the recipe for the In Season IPA will be ever-changing, so as to showcase the best available hops throughout the year.

4 Pines will work with the latest hop harvest in the Northern or Southern Hemisphere to showcase the best and freshly harvested hops from across the globe in its IPA.

The beer will also be brewed with the same subtle malt year-round, giving the hops centre stage, and in small batches to retain the freshness.

4 Pines co-founder Jaron Mitchell said, “It has become increasingly apparent to us over the years that in-season hops are the only way to go. You can’t get it any better. It quite literally makes the hop character of the IPA jump out of the pint glass. Now it’s just up to us to keep scouring the planet and getting our hands on the best and freshest hops every season to be able to bring this to more and more IPA fans.”

Mitchell believes the current release, batch number four, is the brewery’s best hop combo yet, featuring Columbus, Chinook, Idaho #7 and Crystal hops from the Northern Hemisphere. It’s a tropical palate pleaser, showcasing strong notes of tangerine, mango and peach, and packs quite a punch at 6.7% ABV.

A 4-pack of the 375ml cans retails for $19.99. For orders, contact 4 Pines.
